Eliminating Views from Cycle?

Featured Replies

I would like to be able to flip between the outside spot view and the virtual cockpit view without having to cycle through tower view etc.It seems I have seen I need to do something to the aircraft.cfg to do this but cannot find the reference.I know I can do this by pressing S and Shift-S, but want to be able to do the flipping of views by pressing one key on my joystick.

To change what views are in the 'cycle' when hitting the S key requires editing the cameras.cfg file. This file is located here:C:Documents and Settings{YourUserName}Application DataMicrosoftFSXWithin that file you will see the various sections that define each camera view. You will notice that some sections have the line CycleHidden=Yes at the end of the section. Those sections with that line at the end have that particular camera view hidden from the cycle. If you want that view to be in the cycle then remove the CycleHidden=Yes line from that section. If there is a camera view that you want removed from the cycle then add the CycleHidden=Yes to the section defining the camera view you want to remove.

Thank you, will give it a try.

F9 for the VC, F11 for the spot view.Allcott
