A littel embarassed here. There was a thread a little while ago that talked about FS crashing toward the end of a long cross country flight. I don't quite remember if it was about how FS stores scenery in the memory cache, on the disc, or if it referred to prefetch. I remember the thread was very interesting and gave a good explanation and possible fixes, just forgot to bookmark that one so I could go back and review. Seems it takes me several times reading something before it finally sinks in. Possibly a sign of mature memory syndrome or even the result of brain cell loss from a misspent youth! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It might be in the Crash to Desktop Sub-Forum (just above this forum)? Plus you might do a search using prefetch as your keyword.Best regards,Jim
