January 3, 20215 yr Can someone please provide installation steps for Reality XP GTN650 for XPlane. I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled RXP GTN650 repeatedly with no success. Reality XP is currently installed in XPlane folder and Garmin trainer is installed at the default location. When XPlane is launched, the GTN650 appears, but does not turn on. Issue is not plugin settings, that has been tested with no success. Is there complete end to end installation instructions for both RXP GTN650 and Garmin trainer?
January 7, 20215 yr Having the same issue. RXP needs to update it's installation manuals so their customers don't have to dig through a bunch of forums to find out why they're product doesn't work even though they followed the install correctly. Apparently this may work though I ran out of time this evening to mess with it. "...my suggestion is uninstall both RXP and the Garmin Trainer; use the RXP eCommerce installer instead of any RXP update installer; skip the routine in the RXP process to install the Garmin Trainer; and follow the links in another one or two topics here over the past two days to find the previous Garmin Trainer installation file and install it as well." Personally, I'm giving this one more try and if I can't get this stupid thing to work I'm going to ask for my money back or failing that a dispute with my credit card company.
