Honeycomb Alpha & GT Omega Apex wheelstand?

I have a Honeycomb Alpha yoke and MFG Crosswind pedals. Like many others, I intend get a Honeycomb Bravo throttle set as soon as I can get my hands on one.
I noticed the GT Omega Apex wheel stand is very similar to the Next Level Racing wheel stand, but costs about half as much ($135 vs $300 for the Next Level Racing Flight Stand). While the Next Level Racing Flight Stand is expressly sold as suitable for mounting yokes/HOTAS, I don't find much on Google about using the GT Omega Apex wheel stand for flight sims.
Does anyone have experience mounting a yoke or (flightsim) pedals to the GT Omega? Any thoughts/recommendations?
