December 13, 200619 yr If anyone gets a chance, please help me to understand the values in the ...[Views]eyepoint = 4.3, -1.20, 3.35... setting in the Aircraft.cfg file.many thanks!
December 13, 200619 yr Author Commercial Member The eyepoint values represent the starting position of your head in the VC for a given aircraft relative to the centrepoint of the model as set by the designer. They are in this order: Z axis (forwards/backwards), X Axis (left/right), Y Axis (up/down).Z Axis: Positive values are forward of the centre of the plane, negative values behind it.X Axis: Positive values are right of centre, negative left.Y Axis: Positive is above centre, negative below. Those values indicate it's a small aircraft, left seat. :)Hope that isn't too cryptic. Edited for spelling, haven't had my coffee yet. Mike Johnson - Lotus Simulations
