Hi all.Well it looks like the days have gone when you could point Flight Simulator to any drive or partician from C to Z and self installing programs would follow.unless your FSX is on drive "C" I recomend you contact the supplier of the addon you intend to by,and make sure it will install on the drive you put flight sim on.My FSX is installed on "X" a seperate WD Raptor I have bought three addons and only one will install.Regards.Rex

I have just moved fs9 and fsx over to my D drive and the programs have been found without any problem.Alan

Hi AlanI did say (Some) addons.I have had 2 programs that I will not name as the backlash for nameing the programs may cause me more problems.I have just installed Traffic for fsx, fsuipc and the Piper Seneca they all installed Ok.What I recomended to operators who's path to FSX differs from microsoft flight simulator X's default path which is "C" to conferm that the program that they are buying will self install to the drive FSX is located on.I assure you it is worth the trouble. All the bestRex.
