last-minute flightsim gift ideas

I've been doing AVSIM product reviews for a little more than six months. We don't get paid, but we do get to try out new stuff, which is fun. My vacation started a few days ago and I've been revisiting products that I reviewed earlier in the year. I don't make money from any of these, directly or indirectly, but here are some products that have held my interest and that I think would make good gifts (for someone who likes Flight Simulator, or for a family member to give to you):+ UT Europe (Flight1)+ Tongass Fjords (FSAddon)+ Scenery German 4 and VFR Berlin 2006 (Aerosoft)I didn't review them, but the following are favorites as well: + Ground Environment (Flight1)+ FS Genesis terrain meshWith two or three of these, you can get a lot of what's great in FSX, and do it on current hardware.Another product I'm enjoying right now is FSDiscover from Flight1. I'll have a full review in a few weeks, but this one's a lot of fun. I've been using it to explore places I know well in real life (such as the San Francisco Bay Area), as well as places I've only been to in the sim (Tongass National Forest). With both, I'm noticing things that were always there in the sim, such as islands and ridges, but which I never paid attention to because I didn't have a name for them. I've also found things that I'd gone looking for before and could never pin down, such as the campus where I went to college: the buildings aren't there in the sim, but the lake is part of Ultimate Terrain, and because the lake is labeled in FSDiscover, I was able to find where the school should be, and then work out the roads. (The golf course is there too, grace of UT, though it's not labeled.)
