AP Disengages Switching Views from Cockpit to External

After getting everything to work perfectly fine on my current CH Yoke theres's one thing that's quite annoying. I was wondering if perhaps someone has a fix.

One's AP is engaged as soon as I switch from Cockpit to External or (vise versa) the AP Disengages.

The mapped  button that's assigned to switch views on the yoke is in no way mapped to toggle AP Master Switch, so I'm a bit confused as to why this happens.
