NAV Aides Not Showing GlideSlope + Quirky Video Replay

I'm somewhat new to FSX and am practicing landing in various planes. I like using the NAV aides, mine are red rectangles, to assist me in setting up properly on the glide slope. It was working fine until yesterday and today, I'm practicing landing in a Learjet at Tampa Intl, the NAV aides appear at the height I established, but they do not lower from that height to the runway threshold, they just appear seemingly at the set height (2,500ft.) so I don't get a glide-slope. The rectangles progress as I'm moving forward rather than all appearing with a downward glideslope to the runway. Am I missing a step?Also another quirky item, I decided to record my landing, which was pretty good, no problems encountered. However when viewing the landing after stoping the recording, my landing gear never lowered, the plane was gliding over the runway, like it was floating, then it crashed? That wasn't how it actually occurred, but that was how it was recorded on the playback, strange.
