X-52 not recognized

Featured Replies

Hello, my Logitech X-52 is no longer being recognized by Windows 10 (Shows up as an unknown USB device). It does not power up at all when plugged in. I have tried this method which i have always seen succeed in forums:

-Download latest drivers and when prompted to plug in x52 pro go to Device Manager.

-Find the USB symbol with a triangle /red exclamation mark. Right click and choose to Update drivers.

-Select the option that doesnt automatically update drivers. Instead select the USB driver to install yourself.

-Select generic usb.

However, once i select the device in the drivers menu, it tells me that it "Found drivers but encountered an error while trying to install them"

Also yes, the drivers i am using are the most recent.

As well as this, there should be both the unknown USB and the X-52 driver showing up in the available drivers, but only the USB comes up.
