Background colors...

Hello all, I have a question to any if you can help. I was wondering how I may be able to change the background color of the windows in the panels from the 'dark Blue' to a solid black color. I have done a bit of RLF and always notice when passing the cockpit, that the displays are a solid black with the readouts at their normal color. Is this a change that can be done with an exterior program or is is something that can be adjusted via a panel config file. I did notice some settings but the colors are represented in digits "3" in total. I am not sure what is the correct "3 digit code" for black is incase this is what I have to change. Any assistance would be great. Thanks in advance..
