Simtime parameter is FS9

Featured Replies

I am doing some research into FS9 and I am currently looking at the undocumented simtime parameter found in the flight files (.FLT). What I am trying to establish that using the simulator in normally (i.e. not editing any prior .FLT files) is it possible for the FS9 flight simulator to create a zero value for this parameter. I have tried following a video to do this but was unable to get the simulator to create a simtime variable set to zero.

Normally the simtime parameter is formatted something like this SimTime=8274.0048524631256 I want the simulator to make it SimTime=0.

I did exactly the same steps as per the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELJHOUiBiZs&feature=youtu.be

I would really appreciate if you have FS9 loaded on a Windows 7 computer to see if you can or cannot get the simulator to generate SimTime=0. If you post the results here and or email me at [email protected] that would be great.
