May 22, 20215 yr Hello I am hoping for some advice, but I’m not sure to what degree I might be a lost cause, as I am not very technical and although I have Little Navmap running, I’m not sure I understood the data aspects or did it right during the installation. I have it linked to X-Plane 11. I never had a moving map before and think it’s great, except for these two problems. The least of the two (because it’d be nice, but it’s not the end of the world) is that LNM see’s me, but it doesn’t see any AI flights. I’ve read a few posts about this (although mostly they seem to be talking about online, which I am not.) and feel as though I have ticked all the checkboxes mentioned. I use Traffic Global to generate my AI traffic and I wondered whether that might be upsetting LNM. Secondly and more of an issue really, is that I seem to be having a problem with VOR frequency and NDB. Using LNM to get the frequencies (in America) I am finding on a few occasions that the planes instruments don’t pick up on them. At first I assumed I was just doing it wrong as I am learning the systems. But then using info from X-Planes in game map and/or SkyVector, it seemed to work. Laminar suggested that in the case of the NDB’s, X-Plane removes the ones that are no longer in service. But as I am seeing the same thing with some VOR’s, I didn’t think that LNM would be out of date and this makes me even more sure I have messed up the bit of the install concerning the data. The fact I seem to be having less issues flying here in the UK, I’m sure probably points to the same thing, as doubtless the nav aids here have been around longer, so would be older data? All the best A Confused Badger.
May 22, 20215 yr It seems you've got a problem with the different navigation databases (Navigraph and XP11 dbs are not the same!) I suggest to: 1) synchronize LNM scenery library to XP11 scenery library: ->LNM->Scenery library-> Load scenery library 2) switch all nav sources to simulator only: ->LNM->Scenery library->2. NAvigraph AIRAC....->Do not use Navigraph database Since this moment your LNM should only get access to XP11 navigation database. Skip Skyvector, Jeppessen, NAvigraph and any other real world sources. If you fly at XP11 you've got only XP11 radionavigation stations. If you need extra radiostations it's possible manually add them in XP11 database file but it requires some knowledge of XP11 internals. In general the easier method is using XP11 map to check whether any radiostation exists in XP11 🙂 Regards, Piotr Never give up ... - here are details of the whip-round: https://zrzutka.pl/en/pewr2d -> to help my younger son fights against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (blood cancer).

Try to do: 1) remove/disable Traffic Global plugin (move plugin out of plugins directory tree) 2) switch-on XP11 AI aircrafts - and set them as many as possible 3) restart XP11 and check whether XP11 AI aircrafts were launched correctly (should be visible under XP11 map) 4) connect LNM to XP11, switch on option "Fecth AI or multiplayer aircraft" 5) enable/press under LNM buton "Show AI, multiplayer , .." 6) Check if the LNM can see multiplayer/AI traffic at the same places what is visible under XP11 map. This experiment should let exclude or acknowledge impact of Traffic Global plugin. Then report what is the result 🙂 Regards, Piotr Edited May 22, 20215 yr by ppgas Never give up ... - here are details of the whip-round: https://zrzutka.pl/en/pewr2d -> to help my younger son fights against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (blood cancer).
May 23, 20215 yr Author Thank you for both your quick responses ppgas. I’ll see if XPlanes native AI are picked up. Badger
