After installing vista on my machine I noticed the difference in FPS depending on the direction you look. Actually thats reasonable I suppose.Sitting on the ground at KJFK and looking toward the New York City skyline and the terminal I get 17 FPS. If I spin the view around FPS climbs to 27 -30.The following shots are with the traffic setting 1 notch from max, same for other graphics settings, water 1x, global-max. No sun flare,don't like it anyhow. If/when I take off and cruise I get 39-40 (locked at 40)FPS.In any event I wont use FSX much until PMDG-Level-D port the 744's and the 767 over to FSX. Just my feeling!Can only upload an old shot?I changed res., to 1600x1200, could this be the reason?Checked the screen shot sizes. They are all over 150kb, more like 200kb+.
