G36 Turbo patch

TheFrett has a G36 turbo patch that is to be used in conjunction with Robert Young's turbo mod. The patch is version .6. Has anybody used it? Does it work OK still even after the updates? I'm a little confused if I'm also supposed to use TheFrett's latest mod with it (v.64), but I'm guessing not because that would conflict with the turbo mod as they have both completely different flight dynamics.

What exactly does the patch do, anyway? The GitHub page wasn't very informative other than to use it with the turbo mod (https://github.com/TheFrett/msfs_g36_project/releases/tag/0.6-tn)
