Bonanza G36 TC Fuel Gauge Anomaly?

Featured Replies

There seems to be an error in the fuel gauge as displayed on the G1000 nxi MFD for the wonderful turbocharged Bonanza. The gauge display seems to max out at 30 gallons per tank, rather than the 40 indicated on the weight and fuel page of the simulator. Furthermore, partial fills of the tanks don't display properly on the fuel gauge either, e.g., a half fill of 20 gallons per tank displays as 18 or so on the gauge, so the error isn't even linear.

I did try the default G36, and its G1000 nxi display is also incorrect, so perhaps this error is wired in somewhere. I can't find it discussed in the documentation for the turbocharged version, nor in the forums. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Have a good weekend everyone. Thanks again to Mr. Young for this fine aircraft.

Any problems using the Lean Assistant  on the G1000 nxi?  for some reason I can not adjust the the fuel flow.

No, that seems to work OK, although one does need to move the lean lever what seems to be a long way toward the off position.
