November 26, 20214 yr Hi there, I have a simple question: why does MSFS look a lot less sharp and clear compared to previous sims such as P3D v5, when the same resolution is used in both? I know that I am not running 4K or anything near that, but at 1920 x 1080 the image looks fuzzier or coarser (I have no idea how to express that, but you might know what I mean) or as if the resolution was lower than it actually is. I have image scaling set to 100 or even up to 130 as long as my GTX 1070 Ti can do that, but that does not really change anything. I have all in game settings on ultra. I have no special settings in NVIDIA control panel and also no custom settings in the UserCfg post processing section. Is this titel specifically made to look really good on 4K or big TV screens when watched from some distance only? This effect becomes particularly apparent in VR: P3D v5 looks very acceptable, MSFS in the same resolution does not. Any ideas? Thanks Martin
