May 12, 200719 yr Friends,Somehow and for some reason I lost my airplanes AI. No matter at what level I set it, not a single airplane in the gates or in the air show up. Anyone knows that the problem might be?Thanks for your help!dito
May 12, 200719 yr If there is a problem with your aircraft BGL file, you can lose all of your AI aircraft. Are you using just FSX, or are you adding AI aircraft from another program? You can look at your aircraft BGL file to see if it is broken or corrupted. Look in your main FSX folder:Scenery/World/Scenery/Inside, you should have a file called "trafficAircraft.bgl". If this file is missing, renamed, or corrupted, you won't have any AI aircraft. My file is about 22,600 KB in size, but others might have files that are different. Hopefully, people with more experience might be able to help you out more, but I think you can start here.Jeff ShylukAvsim Product Reviewer

In fact I did not know where the Aircraft BGL was located. However, my AI is back! Don't know for sure what was the cause but I had to remove the addons sceneries first. Then I entered them again one by one and checking their effect on AI. So far so good!Thank you so very much for replying to my thread.dito
May 13, 200719 yr You're welcome, Dito! You reminded me of the other feature of AI aircraft: FSX treats them as a scenery layer. So maybe there was an issue in your Scenery Library. It's possible that the AI layer got disabled when you installed a scenery. So we both learned something from your problem. I am glad you got your airplanes back!Jeff ShylukAvsim Product Reviewer
