MSFS CTD Simconnect/FS2crew

Featured Replies

spacer.pngHi all,

Go easy, I'm not the most tech savvy. Recently bought FS2crew, installed it. Started MSFS, crashes on the loading screen, no error msg etc. Followed a couple of points from some posts about Simconnect and came across a topic from Pete, about adding a Simconnect.ini file which I've done and will upload the screen shot I have of that. I've uninstalled FS2crew (product manager etc) the lot, restarted the computer yet still getting this CTD. Had no problems last night, so somethings happened this morning.

My Event viewer reads as thus:

Faulting application name: FlightSimulator.exe, version: 1.22.2.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Faulting module name: FlightSimulator.exe, version: 1.22.2.0, time stamp: 0x00000000

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Solved this issue. It seems its a corrupt EXE.xml file, with FSUIPC7 and Fs2crew. I'll link a page that helped me below for others.
