Lost my GPS with SP1!

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone else experienced this. I installed SP1 by the book. Did a clean install of FSX, installed SDK, SDK SP1, started and activated FSX, quit and installed C++ 2005, and then SP1. While I have a very modest rig, I had the game at a point where it was at least playable before the install of SP1. Now, I get major stutters, especially in spot view, and my GPS has completely disappeared. When I select the GPS, it looks as if it's trying to appear, I see the outline for a second and then it's just gone. The other panels ie; 2D cockpit, radio stack etc... display without a problem (other than taking a little longer to display than they used to). Has anyone else seen this? I was thinking of running a repair from the FSX install disk to try to get my GPS back but does anyone know if this will have any other ill effects to the SP1 install?Dell Inspiron 600MIntel Pentium M 1.60GHz,1.59GHz1.5 GB RAMATI Mobility Radeon 900032MB
