Anyone else have this problem??

I have had FSX since before it was officially released. Been playing fine since then. So I installed a new sound blaster sound card and a CPH products yoke. No problems. Flew for hours no problems. So I installed SP1 the other day and all of a sudden after about 15 minutes of any flight anywhere FSX locks up and the sound has a very fast repeating type sound. click, click, click, click, click. Nothing will take me back to the desktop. The only way to get out of FSX is to manually turn off the puter and turn it back on.I've tried, uninstalling my new yokeupdating my nvidia driverrolling back my registry to a previous restore point.re-installed FSX clean... still locks up even without SP1 now.I am wondering if the sound card is conflicting? There are a few IRQ conflicts but everything was working fine before SP1.Anyone else had this problem? Any steps you would recommend trying?ThanksPS no blurries for me after SP1 was installed and FPS seems to be good except the autogen is still the biggest FPS drag, (except light bloom)SystemAMD64 3400+Nvidia 6600AGP 256m driver version 6.14.10.93711 meg of 2700RAMSound Blaster live LS 5.1

Thanks for the help guys I figured out the problem is with my sound card. When I turned it down to no acceleration it stopped locking up. So it looks like an incompatability with FSX and the sound card driver.

You've updated the sound card drivers to the latest version? The drivers on the installation cd is often outdated.Ulf B
