anyone flying the wilco Airbus series with FSX?

Featured Replies

if so, what kind of FPS are you getting with them?? Are they as good as the Citation X or as bad as the ERJ?

I have only had a quick test flight but they feel good so far.I get between 15 and 20 FPS on the active at YSSY (facing the terminal buildings) with most sliders full except autogen which is Normal, I also have a fair bit of traffic including road traffic. With the stock DC3 I get 30 to 35 FPS. Flying towards the Sydney is normally between 25 and 28.VC quality is very good.

cool, I fly with scenery on dense, autogen off, no road traffic, no airport vehicles, 15 percent airline traffic and 50 percent GA traffic and I can stay locked at 30 fps with the eaglesoft planes I currently fly. I cant wait any longer for the airliner-xp A320 I need my bus fix.How are the controls in the VC?? are all the switches clickable?

Not all are clickable unfortunately though I guess the needed ones are like the autopilot, FMC, synoptics, etc. One strange example is controlling screen brightness. You hover the mouse over the CRT and use the mouse wheel. It works well enough but why not use one of the knobs?! That feature was mentioned in the Avsim review. The Majestic Dash 8 sounds like the machine to get for providing a complete simulation. Pity I ran out of money this week!
