B777 N/Wheel Full Deflection

Featured Replies

I am still getting the occasional full deflection of the nose-wheel steering after push-back, and after landing.

Has anyone found a genuine cure for this? At present I have to reload the aircraft.

BTW I have checked and cannot find any false control assignments.

Hopefully a helpful update:

Shortly after my full nose-wheel deflection problem, I had a CTD to black screen. This occurred a couple of days later on another aircaft entirely - the default Baron Be58.

I then followed the advice on the CTD forum and downloaded the CTD Guide (bless you for this!) and discovering a faulting kernelbase.dll app, I followed the instructions to scan for corrupted/missing files. The scan found some and fixed them.

I have not had the full nose-wheel deflection on my PMDG B777 since. However, it is early days, so I am keeping my fingers crossed!
