Popup window on Windows11 and Xp11 not working

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have been using the GTN 750/realityXP software for years. Now I had to move to a new PC which came with Windows 11. I installed the software and all seemed well, except I had to redo the popup window, drag it to the right location on the second screen (RealSimGear GTN750), and then use it. All seemed fine, except when I started the simulator again  afer a break, the window didnt show; it was small, hidden behind the XP11 screen and I couldnt get to it, unless I usd the option reset window from the menu and manually again went through the steps of moving the popout windo to the second monitor.

Anyone having had this problem before? I checked the .ini file is the same as on my previous computer. Location of the Realsimgear GTN750 and the main monitor are all the same. But it seems like the startup program is unable to launch the window to the second monitor. Might this be a rights related issue?

Thanks for any help provided.

Problem solved. Windows 11 has a display setting where minimizing windows go to the menu bar (in the main screen). Disabling this for both screens solved the issue w x-plane loosing the GTN window position on the external monitor within the realsimgear GTN750.
