December 10, 20223 yr I installed the new update today in X-Plane 11. I now get Invalid License error message. I had back in 2020 when purchased followed advice to put RXP directory in C:\ root vs Programs. I see the lic files there but also not after the install todaty, there is an RXP file in Programs(386). I tried just copying them there but no joy. I have my Flight 1 purchase certificates, order #s (530 & 430) which I can provide via private communication if needed. Please advise how to resolve.
December 24, 20223 yr Author GOOD NEWS for anyone having License errors who purchased when the Flight1 eCommerce that services RXP used key files: After not receiving any response from RXP, I did more searching and found that Flight1 could update me to the new license registration system. Without dragging you through the long road I took to success, do this: Go to this Flight1 support page -- https://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=service Scroll to the bottom of the page to access the support ticket system. Login with your Fligh1 username & password. If you don't have or can't remember the credential, create a new account. As long as you have your original proof of purchase certificate (should be in the RXP program folder in c:\ root ; c:\Programs; or wherever you installed) along with the license key files. NOTE: I had my certificate but no credentials as old email was no longer usable. With new Flight 1, created support ticket with my proof certificate attached. Had a response in less 1 hour. They found my GNS 430 & 530 records, linked them to new license system and I was able to download the eCommerce installer and be up and running again following their step-by-step instructions.
