July 27, 200718 yr I've got a Macbook Pro with 160 GB drive and have been thinking about putting XP on a bootcamp partition so that I can run Flight Sim. It's been years since I've played Flight Sim. It's the one thing that I miss about moving to Mac. I was looking at the specs for FS 10 and noticed that it takes 15GB to install. That's more than what I wanted to partition for Windows, given the need to be frugal with my disk space. Is it possible to install Flight Sim with just North American scenery perhaps to conserve disc space, or is the 15GB pretty well set in stone? I'd like to be able to get it down to 7-8 GB if possible.
July 27, 200718 yr I think you'll find that it's pretty much set in stone! If you find yourself needing more drive space later; either for FS addons, or other types of stuff; music, photo's, you could always use a decent external USB or Firewire hard drive.
