July 27, 200718 yr Because the Tileproxy forum is quite separated from the main FSX forum, I would just like to announce that I have had some success with bringing "water masks" into Tileproxy-downloaded phototerrain. That means lakes, large rivers and seas appear in the FSX native water rendering and you can use float planes on the lakes again.I have posted some initial screen shots and results to the Tileproxy forum. This feature will be part of the Beta 6 version, but right now I cannot yet say when this will be released. The compressed land/water mask for the ENTIRE PLANET still fits in about 52 MB and so this is going to ship as part of the installer. The compression is similar to how fax machines do it. A tad more efficient due to arithmetic coding ;)Head on over to the TP forum to check the screenshots.Christian
