August 5, 200718 yr Who Invented The Click-To-Enlarge Gauge? Here is a question for MSFS historians. I am writing an article on FSX cockpits, and it occurs to me that the one new feature I like the best (in cockpits in general) has to be the Click-to-Enlarge gauge, where you click on a guage like a MFD, and it gets embiggened on the screen. I think the earliest Click-To-Enlarge Gauge I can remember coming across was in the PMDG 737NG for FS9, but I am pretty sure there were C-T-E gauges around before that. The answer to this question is just for personal enlightenment, although if I could pinpoint the actual person, they would no doubt get a thank-you from me in my capacity as an AVSIM volunteer.
