currently. Running a i9 9900k

all cores at 5ghz with a suprim x 3080ti

should I upgrade cpu and mobo?

or stay put for a bit ?

If I were you I would wait till 2024 when AMD Zen 5 or Intel Arrow Lake comes out (that's if Intel does not delay things.)

I'm running on a i7 8700k at 4.7Ghz with a 3060Ti and running MSFS at mid 40s at JFK.

Interesting! I am getting really good frames also but certain scenarios just annoys me with the  stuttering.
