Reality XP GNS430 issues / Xplane 11

Featured Replies

New member here. I am running Xplane 11 with Reality XP 430 (V2) installed. (Flying a Torque-Sim Cirrus SR22 and the stock 172, though does not really seem to matter which plane I am flying.

Generally all has been working well, but recently two issues I cannot solve:

1) I cannot get the 430 to accept a designated VOR radial to intercept. My process is to select Direct to the designated VOR, then hit OBS which should populate a window into which I can select the desired radial, right? I see this works in the standalone gammon trainer.  But no matter what I do, I cannot get to that window or a cursor that will do anything other than alter the flight plan.

2) A second (possibly unrelated? issue) is that when I go to pop out the 430 window so that I can drag it over to my RealSim 430 hardware, I seem to get two windows that pop up from the 430, and often the one that I need to turn into a popOUT window cannot be popped out. So there is something weird in the way xplane is loading the 430's? I am not really sure as this is a fairly new issue. I go in and mess with the Reality XP settings, restart X plane, and am generally able to sort it out, but sometimes I still have the same issue and it's quite annoying. I will try to post a photo of this.

Any thoughts much appreciated!
