FSRemote (a nice little free application)

Recommended Posts

FS Remote (beta)The application is called FS Remote and this is simply because I started with looking at and fiddling with the FSUIPC4 over the network. It was written, debugged and tested using Visual Studio 2005 .NET 2.0 and C# and the FSUIPC4 (registered) 4160 interface for FSX, so you need to have FSX (SP1), FSUIPC4 (registered) and .NET 2.0 or 3.0 installed on the system running FSX or like me on a remote (development) system over FSWide. My hope is that for the most part the interface is self explaining, but there is a (very little) accompanying document.Download link http://home.planet.nl/~elzer/downloads/FSRemote.zipI Hope you enjoy using it.

It does what the title says FSRemote controls FSX remotely through FSUIPC.Just take a look at the (word) document that is contained in the zip file and look at some screen shots. It can view and control the following items in FSX through FSUIPC:1. Environment - view Date Time and Position2. Date Time - view and set Date and Time in FSX3. Aircraft - view and set various aircraft items like Door, Lights, Push back and De-Ice4. Attitude - view attitude and speed in feet, meter, knots, mp/h and km/h5. Auto Pilot - view and set various Auto Pilot items6. Radio - view and set almost all the radio items like in the radio stack7. Engines - auto stop and start engines, not much jet8. Message - view and send messages to FSX9. Weather - not implemented jet10. FPS - view chart and check the Frames per Second in FSX11. About box with various version information.Hope you like it.
