April 15, 20233 yr Had a problem recently where fps had dropped and was most noticeable looking down to the side, even in outback sparse scenery. Couldn't think of any changes I had made so it was a bit of a mystery. Last night I had another look at settings and discovered that I had set image quality to Quality, rather than Performance. (It's near the top of the options, hope I got the name right). Switched it back (no need to go to ultra performance for me) and sim is silky smooth in the outback etc once again, with little impact on the image quality. Useful tip if you have a mid card like mine (3060 ti)
