Garmin GPS 530 Screen Inaccurate.

After loading RXP in P3D v5.4 Windows 10 Pro successfully, I clicked the window to selection an aircraft.  I placed the 530 on the windshield to the left.  I click OK and what came up was the 530 with the entire Garmin 295 superimposed on the 530's screen in its entirety and an error message: 

                           F1GNS Error    

                           Incompatible 64-bit simulator version

I don't know why this has happened since the install went perfectly?

What did I do wrong, something missing or is P3D v5.4 incompatible with Reality XP.  When you chose the P3D version in XP, there are no subdivisions to select.  For example: P3D v1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
