Calibrate Logitech Yoke with Bodnar Mod?

Featured Replies

Hi All. Apologies if I get some things wrong in this post, I'm new to X-Plane and figuring things out as I go along.

My 12-year-old son recently spent some of his hard-earned money on Facebook Marketplace for a Logitech Yoke. He's trying to use it with X-Plane 12, which he as been playing for a couple of months with keyboard and mouse..

The yoke he bought came with the "Leo Bodnar" modification to address the deadzone issue.

However, when he tries to calibrate it, X-Plane is asking him to calibrate "Axis 0" - He has no Axis 0, just roll and pitch (Axis 1 & 2, which work fine).

Can anyone offer any guidance as to how to configure things?

Thanks in advance.

According to this thread here at least some of the people here have some experience with this mod, and what you are seeing could be perfectly normal.
But AFAIK, the original yoke came with a seperate throttle unit but with its logic integrated into the main unit.
This might account for the additional axis, although the throttle unit actually had three axes so in total you should see 5!
