thru-way parking problem

I created some thru-way parkings of type 'gate small' at an airport. The ATC is using them as taxiways for airplanes going for takeoff for a runway.The problem is:1. ATC is not bothered if the thru-way parking is empty or not.2. ATC is not taking into account the size of the parking and that of the airplane it wants to taxi through it.I am ending up with watching ai airplanes passing through an already parked aircraft, or a large aircraft coming through it, slicing the adjacent parked planes with its wings.How can I fix this? What if I dont want ATC to use those thru-way parkings as taxiways?
