Is it true that the SP2 that is going to be released as a download will be different than the one that is in acceleration? Does anybody have more information on this? I couldn't find anything on fsinsider.

No. The free download will be *exactly* the same as that in Acceleration.Some people think the delay means ACES is adding some additional fixes or features. That is pure speculation and absolutely false.The separate SP2 has to be tested to ensure it doesn't cause problems in existing FSX+SP1 installations. That's the main reason for the delay.Cal - CYXX
