FSX:Acceleration: Keeps changing screen resolution

This is really strange...I have a virgin install of FSX to which I added Acceleration. I'm running this on a Vista64 system with a new 8800GT 512Mb card.Acceleration runs like a dream in DX10, and I'm very happy. However, all was going well and then suddenly the game started changing resolution when I load a flight. I have the game set to 1600x1200 32bit, but when I start a flight, I get the loading thermometer slightly off center, and then I get a 1208x1024 inset screen in the top left corner of my monitor. Doh! When checking the resolution within a flight, it says I'm in 1600x1200 (but I ain't!) If I change the resolution to something else, then back into flight, and then back to 1600x1200, it sorts itself out, but this is a real pain to do for every flight. In case I set something incorrectly in the config, I deleted it and regenerated one, but it's still happening. Rebooted, checked my in-game settings, etc. but nothing has fixed it.I don't understand why it has suddenly started to do this, when it was fine before. There have been no updates to my system between this not happening and then happening (i.e., no changes to my graphics drivers).HELP!

No takers? Hmmm, then maybe it's a graphics card driver problem. Perhaps I'll try the 169.04 drivers....
