OCX errors

Featured Replies

Has anyone had any luck elliminating the COMCT232.OCX error. I have it and placed it in windowssystem and also found that there wre two in the windowsasystem32 folder. Should these be saved off someplace and the downloaded one put in their place. Suggestions - ideas...Thanks

prdant,OK - This is the OCX forum. Sorry if I'm dumb and ignorant. Is this a question related to FSX? I run FSX Acc/SP2 with a lot of add-ons and have up till now never heard of any problem with COMCT232.OCX. What is your problem? What error message do you recieve in FSX? Is it a CTD? Is this a problem that is new, after installing what? More info would be helpful to somebody to able to help you out.So, in brief:1. Post a pic with the error message that you get.2. Tell us what FSX version your'e running (RTM, SP1 or SP2)3. What Operating System your'e running (XP, Vista 32, Vista 64...)4. Any change in your PC/FSX configuration that you suspect caused the problem.Ulf B
