MSFS CTD during update

Hi, I'm trying to start MSFS, but getting a CTD during update. It gets to around 80-90% of the progress bar, then just shuts down without any error message or similar. I tried to verify the files and deleting the cache files in appdata.

Other than the base game and official terrain updates I only have a few aircraft and airport mods that I have had for a long time and they have not caused any problems before.

Any suggestions on how to make it work?
