Video Playback (or recorder) problem

Featured Replies

Hi everyody!I can't figure out why the airplanes in my playbacks don't show the airplanes parts movements. I basically see the airplan landing without gear. Also flaps, ruder, etc are not moving at all.I haven't been able to find any topic in any forum about this problem. Thanks a lot!Gabriele, Italy

Because it's the very basic default player.Suggest this extremely good freeware one, moving controls, flight recording everything...http://www.fs-recorder.net/RegardsBerntCapt 767

Hi Bernt!I actually forgot to mention that I tried with fsr yesterday. It fixed the problem but the FPS drops a lot when I record the video using ZD Soft Game Recorder. This FPS drop (regardless of the chosen codec) thing doesn't occur caprturing from the default fsx player.I am going to try with fraps or maybe another one you guys may suggest.THanks again!G

Try GameCam, if you are using XP. Fraps, if you are using Vista (GameCam doesn't work under Vista :-( )

Just a heads-up -FRAPS doesn't work under Vista SP1 RC

I found a way around:1) I record with FS-recorder2) I play the movies back with FSX window resized down3) I record with ZD Soft Game Recorder FULL SCREEN (because the fsx win is small)Result: smooooth and crisp AVI files
