IFOLS problem

I'm running FSX SP1, the Carr2006 carrier package, FSUIPC 4.2, and ArrCab 2.6. The aircraft is AerialFoundry's F/A-18C. The catapult, arrestor cables, and sounds work perfectly.The aircraft didn't come with a "meatball", so I created a new window in the panel.cfg, and added the IFOLS from FlightDeck 4. When I make my approach, I bring up the IFOLS window, and it displays as it should. The problem is that even though Nav 1 is tuned to the proper frequency, the "ball" never moves. It lights up, but remains at the bottom of the IFOLS. If I bring up my HSI display, the glideslope needle moves up and down as it should, and I'm able to trap using the HSI. Any idea why the IFOLS ball isn't moving?
