OK guys, I need advice. I installed SP2 on my single core outfit(XP) and now am getting 6 to 8 load windows appearing. I am not including the usual Scenery indexes or terrain,Scenery,traffic ect. windows. They even appear before loading and after I call for exit FSX. What gives? I must confess I loaded SP2 without a clean install.( 40 gigs of addons). Any suggestions? rrnails

Do you have the the payware FSUIPC installed? If so, then look in there and find the option that refers to syncing sim time to system time. Uncheck that checkbox. R-

Guys, I finally did it and bit the bullet and did a complete "clean" install. Things are looking a lot better and load times have increased dramatically. Now to start tweaking again and get rid of the distance blurries. Thanks "R" for the tip. rnails
