Increasing brake strength

Featured Replies

I don't know about the realism, but the RealAir Marchetti seems to have weak brakes. I would like to increase their strength. I found this line in the aircraft .cfg file...toe_brakes_scale = 0.58 //Brake scalarI tried increasing it to 0.88 but it seems to have no effect. How do I increase brake strength and if this line is it, what is the acceptable number range?Thanx in advance...:-beerchugDonald T.FLYing? It's cool. Trillions of birds and insects can't be wrong.

I poked around the .cfg files of other aircraft and the biggest number I found was for a freeware F-14; 2.4.However I am happy with 1.7 in the Marchetti- the same as the Acceleration F-18. That is in FSX, in FS9 the default braking is 0.6 so I changed it to 1.6 and it's fine.Best Regards, Donald T.:-waveFLYing? It's cool. Trillions of birds and insects can't be wrong.
