I was used to the "normal" panning in cockpit view from FS9 and was disappointed to have such a poor pan rate in FSX. Today I went into the camera.cfg file and copied the PanAcceleratorTime=0 from the virtual cockpit view...it worked. I can actually pan around quicker just like VC mode.Good luck all.Ed
