CRJ700 checklist fuel flow question

Recommended Posts

Guest Sirocco

I reach the point when starting engines with the CRJ700, both engines are running, generators switched on, ignition off, but fuel flow is low. The checklists I've looked at mention "fuel flow" without being specific. I've tried everything I can think of but nothing boosts it to the high numbers with CTRL+E. What should I be doing, and when should I be doing it?

Hello,Usual idle settings for a typical jet engine are: 25% N1 60% N2 400C EGT and a fuel flow of about 0.3T/hMartin
