WINWING Surprised Me on Instagram

Featured Replies

I don’t usually write posts like this, but I wanted to share something that genuinely impressed me.

A few weeks ago, I was debating whether to invest in the new WINWING MCDU. Like many of us, I’ve grown skeptical over the years—great-looking renders, long wait times, sometimes unclear communication. But I took the plunge. And that’s when things got interesting.

After placing my order, I had a couple of questions about compatibility and shipping. Out of curiosity, I messaged their Instagram account (@winwing_sim)—not really expecting much. To my surprise, I got a reply within minutes, and not just a canned message. A real human being answered my questions with care, and even followed up a few days later to see how things were going.

Since then, I’ve started checking their Instagram more regularly. They’ve been posting quick updates on restocks (especially for the EU warehouse, which matters a lot for those of us in Europe), and even teased some exciting things in the pipeline—like the upcoming Airbus throttle quadrant and their long-rumored Boeing-style yoke.

What struck me most is that their Instagram isn’t just marketing fluff. It feels like a bridge to the team behind the products. If you’ve ever felt like shouting into the void on a support ticket, you’ll know how rare that is.

So, if you’re on the fence about one of their products, or just want to keep an eye on what’s coming next, I honestly think following their Instagram is worth it. Even if you’re not ready to buy, it gives you a sense of how they’re evolving and listening to the community.

Just thought I’d share my experience. Curious if anyone else has reached out to them there?
