Runway textures flashing please help.

Featured Replies

HiReally hope someone here can help me out, as I have looked everywhere for a solution to the problems I am experiencing. The problems I am getting are textures flashing on the runways and jagged lines or movement on the window frames. The window frame problem is when I turn to look left or right using trackir 3. The following is a list of what I have tried to do to solve this, but with no success: Reinstalled game, forced vsync on in the nvidia control panel along with triple buffering. Switched Anti alias on in nvidia control panel and tried setting it to 4 and then 8. Set frames to render 1. I also need to add that all this occurs when I have previewed direct x 10 switched on. I have read somewhere that with service pack 2 (which I use) and with preview direct x 10 switched on, that you cannot manually set any settings, using nvidia control panel, is this true? And if it is how I stop the texture problems I am having. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!Geforce 8800GTCPU: AMD 64 3.3 GHZMotherboard: Asus crosshairOS: vista 32bit Home Ram: 2gb corsair

This is a known problem with video card drivers. No fix yet. Recommend you send in a bug report to Nvidia techs as many others have done so far (http://www.nvidia.com/object/vistaqualityassurance.html).Jim

That, and turn off the DX10 Preview option. You should be okay in DX9c.Jeff ShylukAssistant Managing EditorSenior Staff ReviewerAVSIM
