Hi All.I am new to the aircraft design, and I adopted one of the planes from Simviation, the Cessna 340A. It came with the views and a file named "Cessna 340A.fsc". What do I need to be able to edit that file? I assume it is a Flight Shop file, so I guess I have to purchase FlightShop . I have FS2002 Pro and Gmax with the update. Any help with this would be great as I would like to give something back to the Flightsim community. I am now just getting started with painting but I still have alot to learn! If anyone else is interested in adopting abandoned planes here is the url: http://www.simviation.com/adoptfsc.htm.Thanks in Advance.David Duffy.Timberwolf Pilot # TWF268http://www.timberwolfair.com/

Hi David,I am not certain, but you should be able to import the file in Gmax. I haven't tried it myself, because I started from scratch. I too adopted some a/c, but I will do them in the future since my current project has priority. Are you interested in a Gmax fuselage for an A319 ??Regards,Udo:-wave

Dave - the "orphan" files are -for the most part - FFDS source files. The Cessna file you're referring to, with the "fsc" extension indicates it's an FSDS source file. It'll be easier to get someone to export the fsc for you into gmax.Contact the Cessna's author and he may be willing to convert the file to a dxf that you can then import into gmax.
