May 24, 200224 yr I've finally gotten GMAX up and running on my computer...I was wondering if there is a comprehensive tutorial on JUST building FS planes somewhere, or is the Help file and the packaged tutorial all there is. I don't really have a problem with the packaged tutorial, it's just that I'm looking for a more "FS specific" tutorial...such as "here's where you start,... to make a wing..., etc.,"Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.K Bailey

May 25, 200224 yr The place to start is learning the tool... gmax.Do the tutorials, all of them to learn tools and techniques and familiarize yourself with gmax. The time invested will be paid back many fold.Once completed (or during), do your aircraft research. Gather as much technical data as you can find. Get every picture from every angle you can find. If you have access to the real thing or a former pilot, that will be a big help too. Some gmax support sites are:http://www.aerodynamika.com/cgi-bin/freeflight.cgihttp://www.gmaxsupport.com/forum/cgi-bin/u...?ubb=forum;f=12http://www.cue-stom.com/fsim/html/index.shtmlhttp://thegreatptmd.tripod.com/You will find task specific tips and tutorials at these sites or forum help.Try searching these sites for 3-viewshttp://members.fortunecity.com/inedesca/ http://home.uva.nl/onno.vanbraam/index.html http://www.suurland.com/blueprints_archive.php Milton
May 25, 200224 yr Thanks A Million! I have been looking for tutorials and such using www.google.com as a search engine, bought a book at borders on 3dmax version 4 and couldn't find anything about creating planes in Fs2k2 using gmax. This will help alot because when I learn how to create planes I will want to build a high detailed MD-80 series plane. Btw I bookedmarked all of your links.
