just finished building a piper cherokee and the only problem i'm having is that when i look out the left or right windows the wing doesn't show up...i must be missing something. any help very much appreciated.

You will have to create a virtual cockpit for the wing to show up...There is a good tutorial here http://takeoff.to/landing on how to create DVC with GmaxRegards,Tomas
